Enjoy a Fun, Meaningful Summer
In June we offer camps for all belt levels (even beginners) ages 4 to 12.
- Two weeks of the Kickin’ Summer Off Right Camp for kids age 7-12 will be held June 13th-17th and 20th-24th, 9am to 3 pm daily. (1 or both weeks)
- Li’l Kickers day camp for ages 4-6 wil be held June 13th-17th, 9-11.
Kickin’ Summer Off Right
- These 10 days will include all facets of Taekwondo instruction,ceramics construction and decoration, other art exploration lots of games and some fun in the sun.
- $205 for week one, $215 for week two or $395 for both weeks. Early registrants receive a $20 discount before May 15th.
- Campers who reach for their potential doing both weeks of camp will test for their next belt on the final day of camp.
Li’l Kickers
- This is a great camp for our youngest practitioners to gain confidence in their abilities inside the dojang and out.
- Camp will include Taekwondo instruction in forms, sparring, self defense and basics and other fun and confidence building activities.
- $105. Early registrant receive a $10 discount before May 15th.

A Look Back at June and a Thank you
Since then we have belt tested, summer camped and competed at the State Tournament in Butte. Every step of the way our hearts have been overflowing with the great depth and meaning that comes into our lives while we share these experiences with all of you, our martial arts family.
We, Steve and Amanda Rosbarsky, love you all and are deeply grateful that you choose to continue your journey through martial arts and life with us in them. Thank you for all that you give back to us.

The greatest part about summer is the greater flexibility we all have to explore the things that truly interest us. We are privileged to offer our summer camps to our students so they may spend some time exploring Taekwondo with a greater than average intensity as well as developing lasting bonds with their peers and MTC Black Belts.
In June we offer camps for all belt levels (even beginners) ages 4 to 12.

Summer Schedule
There is an abbreviated Friday Schedule with just Poomse classes being held from 4pm-4:30pm for White Belt Poomse. and 4:30pm-5:30pm for all other Poomse.
We will be closed for holidays July 2nd-5th.
In addition to regular classes, we will have camps throughout the summer.
- Age 4-6: June 14-18, July 12-16, and August 9-13
- Age 7-12: June 14-18, June 21-25 and August 9-13
- Age 13-17: (red belt and up) July 23rd-24th (overnight)

A Few Notes to Help you Plan your Spring and Summer
Those interested in the National Tournaments should talk with Mrs. Rosbarsky before the February 10th Booster Club Meeting. Commitment letters are due by February 27th. (For more information contact Mrs. R.)
The Booster Club exists to help make Taekwondo and Tournaments accessible for every interested person regardless of individual financial status.
Currently the Booster Club meets at 6PM the second Wednesday of the month and is spring tournaments, fundraising needs and desired spring fundraisers and individuals interested in Nationals and Junior Nationals this Summer. We are open to input from all interested parties, join us to be a part of the decision making team.
Summer Camps at MTC will run the first 2 weeks after MCPS lets out for the summer: June 14th-18th and June 21st-25th. These will be day camps running from 9AM-3PM for 6-12 year olds (one or both weeks) and 9AM-11AM for 4-5 year olds (week 1 only). We will once again have tons of TKD fun and have some fun in the sun as well.
Our Teen TKD Camp is planned for July as well.
We also plan to hold a 1 week camp August 16th-19th if there is sufficient interest.

The Annual MTC Black Belt Test is anticipated to be held Fall of 2010. Those who are interested in testing please contact Mrs. Rosbarsky.

Kicking Summer Off Right. All current students and community members age 7-12 are invited to participate in the 2009 Kickin' the Summer Off Right Camps at Missoula Taekwondo Center.
- June 15th-19th and 22nd-26th. Do 1 or 2 weeks. 9AM-3AM
- Camp will include Taekwondo instruction in forms, sparring, self defense and basics.
- Also featured will be daily ceramics instruction, including construction and decoration, by Master Glenn Parks.
- Camp cost is $95 per week or $375 for both weeks.
- Week 2 will include a trip to an area water park.
Camp for Teens. In addition to our returning Lil' Kickers and Kickin Summer Off right we will host camp for MTC Red-Black Belts who are age 13-17. The camp will include TKD instruction, an overnight at the Rosbarsky Home and great bonding amongst like minded martial artists. The camp is tentatively planned for the weekend of August 14-15th. Space will be limited for this camp so please indicate your interest ASAP. Registration will be available in July for this Teen team building camp.

- This camp is for all current and new MTC students age 7-12. All belt levels are welcome.
- The Taekwondo instruction in this camp will include basics, forms, sparring and self defense.
- Camp will include daily ceramics work with Mr. Glenn Parks
- Included in the 2nd week of camp will be a day at a local water park.
- Also included in camp: testing fee. Campers who complete both weeks of camp will test on Friday of week 2
- 1 week of camp is just $195 or $175 paid by May 15th. 2 weeks of camp is $375 or just $355 paid by May 15th.

- Included in camp will be a day at a local water park (Currents or Splash depending on the weather.)

Summer Camp at MTC
These 10 days will include Taekwondo instruction, arts and crafts, lots of games and some fun in the sun at a local water park.
The camp is for all belt levels and each participant has the opportunity to accelerate their testing timeline. Meaning if campers put diligent effort into their time at camp, they can receive their next belt level at the completion of camp (they won't have to wait for the next regularly scheduled test). This camp will be open to all, not just current MTC students and space is limited.
The cost of camp will be $195 for one week or $375 for both weeks with Early Bird registrants receiving a $20 discount for registration before May 15th.
All instruction, materials, belt testing fee and water park entrance fee are included in the cost of camp. Parents must provide a refillable water bottle, sack lunch ($ for lunch at the water park will also be the parents responsibility) and sunscreen on a daily basis.

Remember this is a great time to use Booster Club Funds earned. To use money from your Booster Club account please submit a form located on he front counter in the Blue Booster Club folder.
